However, the IMF kept its forecast of 2024 global growth unchanged at 3% due to the deceleration of developed economies. These growth predictions are lower than the 6.3% growth achieved in 2021 and 3.5% in 2022.
It warned the global economy still faces lingering challenges despite short-term resilience, calling on countries to maintain a tight monetary policy.
