Hezbollah launched five rockets at the Glilot military intelligence base in central Israel, home to the IDF’s signals intelligence Unit 8200 and adjacent to the Mossad intelligence agency’s headquarters. Some of the rockets were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas, according to the IDF.

Before that attack, Hezbollah fired about 135 rockets that struck multiple locations in northern Israel, including the port city of Haifa.  Hezbollah said it had also targeted Israeli army positions in the villages of Maroun al-Ras and Blida in southern Lebanon, where the IDF is conducting a limited ground operation aimed at dismantling Hezbollah facilities.

The IDF announced that it had mobilized 100 fighter jets on Monday to strike 120 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. Among the targets hit was Hezbollah's intelligence division command center in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The Israeli Air Force also bombed Hezbollah positions in the Beqaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, destroying several weapons depots and missile launchers. Casualties from the Israeli attacks on Lebanon have not been reported.

US President Joe Biden spoke with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday. They reaffirmed their commitment to reach a Gaza agreement that will secure the release of hostages and ensure Israel's security.
