The IAEA said Tehran has been implementing the deal since January, 2016. Nonetheless, on October 13, US President Donald Trump said he will not continue to certify Iran’s compliance with the JCPOA, reached under former President Barack Obama. The US Congress has 60 days to decide whether to re-impose economic sanctions on Tehran that were lifted under the nuclear accord.
