Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Petteri Taalas said his organization is able to provide the latest information on weather patterns and their influence to improve national weather forecasting.

This will help management agencies create viable plans for climate change adaptation in agriculture, health care, tourism, forestry, industry, and infrastructure building.
