In Ho Chi Minh City, thousands filled the Hung Kings Memorial Site in Thu Duc City on Monday to pay tribute to the legendary founders of the nation. The ceremony featured incense and flower offerings, traditional rituals, and a procession. 74-year-old Nguyen Van Vinh from District 7 told VOV, “I believe in remembering our roots. As long as I’m healthy, I’ll keep coming. I hope the city will become more prosperous and filled with happiness.”
In Vung Tau, Ba Ria–Vung Tau province, the ceremony at the Hung Kings Temple – Mau Cuu Thien drew large crowds. The festivities began Sunday at Quang Trung Park, featuring lion and dragon dances, taichi performances, music, and magic shows.
In Khanh Hoa, officials and residents gathered at the Hung Kings Temple in Nha Trang City for an incense offering ceremony.
In Dak Lak, traditional gong and drum performances by the Ede people opened the commemorations at the Lac Giao Communal House in Buon Ma Thuot. The event included lion dances, Chung and Giay cake-making, street music, and folk singing, creating a festive atmosphere.
