More than 3,000 businesses and individuals donated 700,000 Tet gifts this year. Monk Thich Truyen Tu from Nha Be district is one of the individuals honored for their support and care for the poor: “Buddhist followers have always been alongside with the nation in caring for the needy and those with disadvantaged, especially in their celebration of the traditional lunar new year and spring. We will try our best so that poor people will enjoy a happy Tet.”
