International visitors accounted for 1.2 million. This impressive growth was attributed to the draw of large cultural events like the Hue Festival and activities hosted by Hue within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2025. Also, tourism infrastructure continues to be upgraded, and accommodations have improved, resulting in better service and longer visitor stays.

Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Hue People’s Committee, said Hue is working to develop new tourism products and combine its heritage with modern elements to increase visitor spending and achieve sustainable tourism growth.

“A wide range of activities have attracted large numbers of domestic and international visitors to Hue. We hope the city will achieve its target of welcoming 5.5 million tourists this year,” Binh said.
