(VOVworld)- National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong has urged Hoa Binh province to assist local enterprises to overcome current economic difficulties and tap its potential toward further socio-economic and cultural development. Speaking at the 6th meeting of Hoa Binh province’s People’s Council yesterday, Ms Phong asked the province to review the planning of residential and resettlement areas to make way for the construction of the Hoa Binh Hydro Power Plant. She asked the province to pay more attention to the development of new rural areas, and the living conditions of ethnic minority people, and to tap local cultural and tourist potential.
