The forum, which marks the 133^rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, aims to raise diplomats’ awareness of President Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought as a valuable guideline for the diplomatic sector.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu said: “President Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic thought derived from patriotism and Vietnam’s culture and diplomatic tradition and absorbed the quintessence of humankind. Creatively applying Ho Chi Minh's Thought and diplomatic methods are standards in external work of the Party and State.”

The delegates discussed President Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic style, method, and art from different aspects and proposed ideas to apply them in implementing the Party’s external policy.
