Participants underscored the need to identify and outline appropriate legal solutions and timely improvement of policy to attract investment and operate foreign direct investment projects.

Bui Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, said that the city is willing to listen to investors' opinions to jointly address challenges.

“The legal environment of investment process will continue to be more transparent and timely to remove difficulties for investors. The business community continues to expand production, trading and investment in Ho Chi Minh City to match the municipal specific orientations, mechanisms, policies, and expectations,” said Cuong.

Cuong said the city will continue to expand forums and information channels on the municipal development orientation and adopt a mechanism to enable investors to dialogue not only with the city authority but also with its districts and associations.
