At a working session with the standing boards of the three localities’ Party Committees on Wednesday, General Secretary Lam emphasized the requirement that the new Ho Chi Minh City must represent a creative, transparent, effective digital government and lead development and innovation.
The Party leader also suggested that the new city must re-architect the regional development space with multipolar-integrated-hyper connected thinking, going beyond the old limits of the traditional urban model.
He stressed the need to build a sci-tech innovation ecosystem and private economy, and shape a new strategy to turn Ho Chi Minh City into a most pioneering, creative and modern metropolis in Vietnam.
