It will open to the public from August 19 to 21 at VOV’s headquarters in 58 Quan Su Street and from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Centre in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

Themed “Return to the Sacred Moment,” the exhibition uses VR technology to recreate the Ba Dinh Square as it was on September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence declaring the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Visitors will use Meta Quest VR headsets to move and interact freely in the immersive 360-degree virtual recreation of the site, under the guidance of Professor Vu Minh Giang. They can also virtually join in the historic moment and together with their compatriots from 80 years ago, shouting out their oath to protect the nation.
