He said the city has enhanced efforts on pandemic prevention in line with Directive 16 and many locally-managed models against the pandemic have been effective. It shows that people’s awareness on protecting themselves and the community has improved.

Mr. Mai said HCMC will carry out systemic measures to reduce COVID-19 deaths and assist people during the social distancing period.
