(VOVworld) – The People’s Committee of HCM city on Saturday granted investment licenses to 5 foreign-invested businesses.

On this occasion, the city’s leaders introduced a number of areas calling for investment as well as incentives for investors. Mayor Le Hoang Quan said: “The 5 businesses licensed today have a total investment capital of nearly 220 million USD. This indicates our efforts to create the best possible conditions for foreign investors in the city.”

Since the beginning of the year, the city licensed 169 projects worth nearly 1 billion USD, 400% from last year.
