The exhibition opened at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities on Monday.

The items on display include ancient maps showing China without Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes; French maps including Hoang Sa and Truong Sa; videos and other documents affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago.

The exhibition, which runs until this Sunday, also features Vietnam’s naval ships throughout different points in history.
