Ha spoke highly of Cuba’s achievements over the years, especially in economics, education, and healthcare, and said she hopes Granma will increase connectivity and information and professional exchanges with Saigon Giai phong newspaper of the municipal Party Committee and the Nhan dan (People) newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

These partnerships will contribute to the Vietnam-Cuba relationship as well as to the relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Cuban localities.

Cuervo said he is delighted at the two countries’ growing ties and insisted that geographic distance cannot hinder the development of their multi-faceted cooperation.
