A total of 32 firework shows lasting 15 minutes each will be divided into nine high-range shows and 23 low-range shows.
High-altitude fireworks will be displayed at nine venues in Hoan Kiem Lake in Hoan Kiem district, southeast Ngoc Khanh Lake in Ba Dinh district, Hoang Cau Lake in Dong Da district, Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung district, Lac Long Quan Garden in Tay Ho district, Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong district, the My Dinh National Sports Complex in Nam Tu Liem district, Vinhomes Riverside Ecological Urban Area in Long Bien district, and Son Tay ancient citadel in Son Tay town.
The 23 points for lower-range fireworks will be located in the remaining districts and towns as decided upon by local authorities.
Funding for the fireworks show will be contributed by local businesses. The city has assigned relevant departments and agencies to make preparations for these events in order to ensure the utmost safety and security.
