The conference, the 38th edition, is expected to draw 500 domestic and international participants under the theme “Connecting-Sharing-Advancing sustainable legal development in the Asia-Pacific”.
This year’s event will focus on pressing legal issues such as regional legal cooperation in the context of globalization, the rule of law and judicial reform, international arbitration and dispute resolution, human rights, digital rights and technology law, and the role of lawyers in promoting sustainable development.
The event will feature 34 thematic sessions covering a wide range of topics, including criminal law, media, technology and data protection, environmental law, constitution, international cybercrime, and strengthening peace, cooperation and development in the East Sea based on international law.
