Thanh praised Singapore's support for Vietnam and Hanoi over the years and said he hopes the two sides will mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 10 years of strategic partnership in 2023 with practical actions.

Mayor Thanh expressed his hope that Singapore will lend its expertise to the city’s master planning for 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Ambassador Jaya Ratnam urged both sides to cooperate in education and create opportunities for business exchanges to lift their bilateral relationship to a new height.
