Over the last 5 years, the implementation of Directive 5 has been a regular and self-disciplined task to promote Party members' responsibility and role model.

Secretary of Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung said: “It’s necessary to be steadfast and persistent in the goals of building elegant and civilized Hanoians and promoting the thousand years of civilization of Thang Long-Hanoi. The drive to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality, and style should be combined with the code of conduct for cadres civil servants, public employees at offices, the code of conduct in public places, and the plan to tighten administrative disciplines and improve working style to create positive changes in the performance of officials and civil servants in Hanoi.”

The Prime Minister has commended Hanoi and conferred certificates of merit to five individuals and two organizations for studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and lifestyle from 2016 to 2021.
