They include electric and high-pressure cleaning vehicles, specialized vehicles for smart waste classification and collection, monitoring systems and waste classification houses at source.
At the launch ceremony on Friday at August Revolution Square, Hanoi, Nguyen Xuan Dai, Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, said, “The launching ceremony is a concrete step in the roadmap to professionalize urban environmental sanitation work. However, effectiveness does not only come from modern equipment but must start from changes in awareness and responsibility of each individual. Each person needs to become a link in the system of preserving the living environment of the capital city.”
The new equipment not only helps improve labor productivity, increase the level of mechanization, and reduce environmental pollution, but also contributes to building the image of a civilized and modern capital.
