(VOVworld)- Preparing for National Tourism Year of the Red River-Haiphong 2013, Haiphong City has been improving its infrastructure and creating new tourism products. The theme  “Tourism and city” was chosen by Hai Phong, which hopes to create a breakthrough in tourism development. Mr Le Van Tien, CEO of the Vietnam-Australia  joint stock  corporation, which is in charge of building the  Road 356 leading to Dinh Vu Port, told VOV “Road 356 is an artery of Dinh Vu and Hai Phong Port and a T-junction linking to the highway.  This important road has attracted the attention of the city People’s Committee and other city departments, so we have received much support including capital, and construction site clearance.  We have managed to overcome all difficulties to complete this road on schedule. This road is for a model road for Hai Phong city.”

 Cat Bi international air port, Hai Phong museum and other tourism-related sites are also being upgraded.
