Greek banking officials says that about 500 to 800 million euros have been withdrawn everyday for almost a week. Citizens have also been scrambling to buy pasta and canned food stuffs in case of food shortages as they fear the country may leave the euro and revert back to using its own currency again if candidate Alexis Tsipras, leader of the left-wing Syriza party, win the election.
