(VOVworld) – Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced his new cabinet Tuesday.

Euclid Tsakalotos, the new Greek finance minister, will face great challenges during the implementation of EU-proposed reforms, which Prime Minister Tsipras pledged last July in return for a EU bailout package worth 86 billion EUR over the next 5 years. Mr Kammenos, leader of the allied Independent Greeks Party, retained his position as Defense Minister. The new Greek cabinet, comprised of 16 ministers and 30 deputy ministers, will take office on Wednesday.
