(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a decision to strengthen the government’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was appointed Head of the Committee. The Steering Committee for Administrative Reform is an intersectoral organization set up to assist the Prime Minister in directing sectors and localities in implementation of administrative reform. The Committee studies and recommends guidelines and policies to support the government’s administrative reform program and creates the Ministry of the Interior’s annual long-term administrative reform plan to submit to the Government. The Committee also studies draft resolutions, decrees and documents related to administrative reform before they are submitted to the Government for approval.
