At the National Assembly’s Q&A session on Friday, Mr. Binh said the Government is actively negotiating with the US while pursuing broader, long-term strategies. It has been proactive in restructuring the economy, capitalizing on free trade agreements, and reducing reliance on any single export market, he said.
“We must also diversify our export portfolio and focus on deeper processing. If challenges arise, the Government is prepared to introduce tax and fee relief measures to support affected businesses,” he noted.
Deputy PM Binh also highlighted ongoing administrative reforms, saying new decrees have been issued to enhance decentralization and empower local governments as part of efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the two-tier local government system.
A nationwide hotline has been launched, enabling citizens and local authorities to access information on public services, he said, adding that AI-powered virtual assistants will soon be deployed to help users navigate more than 1,800 public services”
