In his meeting with Mr. Kudryashov Sergei Ivanovich, General Director of Zarubezhneft Joint Stock Company, a key partner of Vietnam in the oil and gas sector, General Secretary To Lam praised the fruitful cooperation between Zarubezhneft and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN), affirming Vietnam's consistent support for enterprises from both countries to expand collaboration within the framework of national laws and the Vietnam–Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

In a separate meeting with Mr. Vladimir Yevtushenkov, founder of AFK Sistema Public Joint Stock Company, one of Russia’s leading multi-industry private investment group, General Secretary To Lam underscored Vietnam’s commitment to deepening economic, trade, scientific, and technological ties with top Russian enterprises and investors, including AFK Sistema. He affirmed that Vietnam will facilitate the company’s plans to launch cooperation projects in priority fields such as information technology, semiconductors, healthcare, and high-tech industries.
Welcoming Mr. Yuri Maximo, co-founder of Positive Technologies, the General Secretary recognized the company’s strong potential in cybersecurity and pledged to instruct relevant Vietnamese agencies to support its efforts in seeking information and identifying suitable local partners in the science and technology sector.
Russian business leaders expressed strong interest in building sustainable, long-term partnerships with Vietnamese partners and reaffirmed their willingness to expand investment cooperation in Vietnam.

On the same day, General Secretary To Lam also held a meeting with Nikolai Patrushev, Chairman of the Sea Council and former Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
