General Secretary requests continued institutionalization of Party's guidelines on private economy

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam has requested that special attention be paid to institutionalizing, within this year, the core contents of the 14th National Party Congress documents during the process of finalizing the Draft Plan on Legislative Orientation for the 16th National Assembly term.

General Secretary Lam, Head of the Central Steering Committee on Institutional and Legal Reform, chaired the first quarter meeting of the Committee on Wednesday in Hanoi. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man joined the meeting.

The General Secretary emphasized the institutionalization of the Party's guidelines and orientations on private economic development according to Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo. “Continue to fully concretize and institutionalize the Party's guidelines on private economic development in the spirit of the 14th National Party Congress, Resolution 68, and other strategic resolutions of the Party Central Committee."

"Efforts should be made to improve mechanisms and policies, create a favorable investment and business environment, reduce legal compliance costs, while ensuring resources in land, capital, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation to promote stronger development of the private economic sector,” he said. 

The Party leader stressed the need to ensure consistency with the Politburo's Conclusion on finetuning the structure of Vietnam's legal system to meet the requirements of national development in the new era.
