At the online conference on Monday, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien underscored the core values of the book, clarified the consistent mindset by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the power of national unity. Chien called this a handbook and a valuable document to help Party committees at all levels better understand and apply the building and promoting of great national unity in the current period.

According to Chien, the book focuses on great solidarity, which is a precious tradition of the Vietnamese people and an important and thorough strategic direction of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The reality of the Vietnamese revolution is the most eloquent proof of the value of great solidarity, he said, adding that  only with unity can we create a source of great strength to overcome all obstacles, defeat the invading enemy, and work together to build and protect the Fatherland. This was summarized into a lesson taught by President Ho Chi Minh as saying "Solidarity, solidarity, great solidarity. Success, success, great success".
