Fundraising campaign launched for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims

(VOVWORLD) - A fundraising campaign for victims of Agent Orange/dioxin was launched at a press conference in Hanoi on Friday, as part of activities marking the 64th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam.

Nguyen Huu Chinh, President of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, called on the media to enhance coverage of the lasting impacts of Agent Orange and efforts to address its legacy. He said that an art program themed “Livelihood – Inclusion” will take place in early August. The fundraising campaign will run from June 10 to September, aiming to support families of Agent Orange victims in need, through home construction or renovation and sustainable livelihood initiatives.
