(VOVworld)- The Elysee Palace held a meeting to welcome the Asian New Year yesterday with the participation of Asian communities in France. In his address, French President Francois Hollande highlighted the creativity and enthusiasm of the Asian community and their contribution to France. He expressed his hope that in the Year of the Snake, the Asian community will continue its role as a bridge linking France and Asia. Speaking to a VOV correspondent in Paris, President Hollande said Vietnam and France will organize a number of activities in the next two years to boost bilateral ties. "I will visit Vietnam next year. The French government will cooperate with the Vietnamese government to boost relations in culture, economics and student exchanges between the two countries", said the French President.
