 According to FOX Sports Asia, as the newly-crowned champions of Southeast Asia following their AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 triumph, Vietnam will head into the AFC Asian Cup 2019 brimming with confidence, with the possibility of reaching the Round of 16 as one of the four-best third-placed teams.

FOX Sports Asia also spoke highly of coach Park Hang-seo’s ability in managing the players, adding that Vietnam is likely to make a surprise for defeating Iraq to qualify for the last 16 with a top-two finish in their group.
