(VOVWORLD) - Foreigners living in Vietnam are enjoying the hectic Tet atmosphere, which is typified by peach blossoms and yellow kumquat trees.

Finnish artist Sofia Kukkonen has worked in Vietnam since last August and will spend her first Tet here. She and her friends are wandering around the streets filled with flowers and decorative items. She said the atmosphere reminds her of the time being reunited with her family in Finland in the new year. 32-year-old Luke Basford from the UK said he will celebrate Tet with islanders in Phu Quoc. Booby Webber, an English teacher from Australia, has been living in Vietnam for three years and spent two Tets in Vietnam. He said he enjoys eating Vietnamese traditional Tet food and is interested in the tale of Chung cake. He said he feels the festive atmosphere when families prepare for necessary Tet items.
