(VOVworld) – During the lunar New Year holiday, an increasing number of foreign tourists have come to Vietnam to explore its natural scenic spots and unique cultural features.

Sa Pa township in Lao Cai province has received 50,000 Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Thua Thien Hue province has welcomed approximately 75,000 tourists including 40,000 foreigners, 25% higher than in the previous Tet.
During the first 10 days of the new year, the province estimates to earn 50 billion VND from tourism and 150 billion USD from other services. The number of visitors to Da Nang city has increased 10% compared to the last Tet.
The city has received 3 foreign cruise ships carrying 3,000 visitors on board. About 75,500 tourists, including 22,000 foreigners, came to Binh Thuan province.
