(VOVworld) - More than 100 foreign students of universities in Hanoi celebrate the traditional new year in Vietnam. They found the Tet holiday joyful as people go shopping for flowers and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of family year-end parties. This is an opportunity for them to explore Vietnamese culture and share best wishes with others.

In Paris, Vietnamese students and their French peers hold a sticky rice square cake making session to remember their homeland. Nguyen Tri Bao is the Chairman of Vietnamese students association in Paris: “We all know about Banh Chung, or sticky rice square care, but not all know how to make it. That’s why we have decided to gather and practice making the cake. Some have spent one night to prepare for the ingredients. It’s worthwhile as we have made delicious cakes.”
