(VOVworld) – Cuisines from 10 ASEAN countries were introduced at a food festival in Hanoi on Saturday. The festival held by Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs was a chance for ASEAN countries to promote their cuisines, culture and people as the ASEAN Community will be established by the end of this year.

The festival has 96 food stalls and included various activities such as cuisine, art performances and displays of souvenirs and handicrafts.

Booths of 10 ASEAN countries are arranged under the same roof symbolizing a new milestone in ASEAN development.
