(VOVworld) – A food festival, one of the highlights and main activities of the first Vietnam International Hot-Air Balloon Festival (VIHABF), opened yesterday on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

The 60 booths gives visitors a taste of the beach through dishes provided by local restaurants, hotels, and resorts. Additionally, festival goers can enjoy art and cooking shows. The Binh Thuan Tourism Association said it organized the festival to diversify tourism products and promote local specialties and Vietnam’s image to domestic and international friends.

The festival will end Saturday.
