Addressing a conference on Vietnam investment in Singapore on Monday, as part of his ongoing official visit to the country, Foreign Minister Son said the establishment of the Vietnam–Singapore Digital Economy and Green Economy Partnership during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Singapore in early this year serves as an essential foundation for the two sides to strengthen cooperation in important areas, promote circular economic development, clean energy, and address climate change challenges.
Participants expressed confidence in Vietnam's strong economic development potential and spoke highly of its efforts in promoting the development of green economy, digital economy, and circular economy. They discussed and proposed various specific measures to effectively implement the Vietnam–Singapore Digital Economy and Green Economy Partnership, strengthen cooperation, and mobilize resources for infrastructure development and high-quality investment projects, and promote green financial cooperation and energy transformation.

The conference started a series of activities within the framework of FM Son’s first official visit to Singapore. It is expected to pave the way for new and practical investment opportunities of the two countries, contributing to further deepening the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership.
