The seafood export turnover was estimated at over 11 billion USD, up 7.8 percent against the target and 12.7 percent year on year.
The year saw seafood exports facing multiple pressures, including reciprocal tariffs from the United States, the risk of anti-dumping duties on shrimp, rising production costs, and increasingly stringent technical barriers. Despite these challenges, seafood exports still recorded growth beyond initial forecasts.
