The club’s purpose is to connect Vietnamese scientists and encourage them to contribute to science and technology in their homeland. The 30 members of the club work in nanotechnology, construction, energy, geology, information technology, and biotechnology.

At the opening ceremony, club members discussed ways to connect with and take part in scientific activities in Vietnam, support technology transfers to Vietnam, find sponsorships, carry out joint research projects, and provide training support for young Vietnamese scientists.
