(VOVworld) – A festival to honor traditional tea planting was held on Sunday in Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city with thousands of visitors participating.

The festival is a chance for tea growers, producers and tea lovers to meet and exchange experience in tea planting, processing and drinking. The program also included a contest of drying tea in traditional ways between 8 hamlets in Tan Cuong. This is the 8th time that Tan Cuong tea area has been granted with certificate to register the geographical indicator for its products.
