The 4-day event, which began on Thursday, draws delegates from 7 provinces including Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, and Lao Cai.
Nguyen Dac Thuy, Director of the Phu Tho provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “The festival honors the cultures of the ethnic groups in Vietnam’s northwest and promotes their traditions and customs to international friends. This will attract investment to local tourism development and promote economic growth.”
