(VOVworld) – Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Dang Ngoc Tung has visited a construction place for building a park commemorating soldiers who died in mission in Gac Ma island.

The construction site is in the north of Cam Ranh peninsula near a road linking Cam Ranh airport to the city center. The park will be built with funding from workers and people to honor soldiers who sacrificed their life in national defense. Chairman of the Confederation, Dang Ngoc Tung:“During the trip, architects will gather materials for their design to illustrate the hardship and brave struggle of Vietnamese soldiers. This monumental park will become a place of education for younger generations about patriotism.”
