(VOVWORLD) - By mid-April, Vietnam's total import-export turnover was estimated at 209 billion USD. Export exceeded 100 billion USD, an increase of 16.34% compared to the same period last year.

Groups of commodities with an export turnover of 1 billion USD or more included computers, electronic products, and components; phones and components; machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts; and textiles and garments.

Other key export items were footwear; transport vehicles and spare parts; cameras, and components; wood, seafood, coffee, fruits, and rice.

Vietnam is expected to welcome hundreds of global buyers, such as Aeon, Uniqlo, Walmart, Amazon, and IKEA (Sweden) at the International Goods Supply Chain Connection event in Ho Chi Minh City in June.
