The explosion occurred in the Mastung district of Balochistan province, as people celebrated the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed, police said.

Terrorist attacks in Pakistan has been on the rise recently. In January, a suicide bomber killed more than 80 police officers at a mosque inside a tightly controlled police headquarters in the northwest city of Peshawar.
