(VOVworld) - Hundreds of photos, documents, and artifacts asserting Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty are on display in the northern province of Hai Duong. Historical evidences of China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone, marine police force, and Hai Duong province’s contributions to national sea and island defense are also displayed. The event helped to raise locals awareness of Vietnam’s sacred sovereignty over the seas and islands and sparked patriotism and determination, especially among the youngsters, to safeguard the fatherland. The exhibition will last until August 10^th.
