As part of activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), 230 booths of ministries, sectors, and localities have recreated glorious milestones in Vietnam’s history and featured the country’s aspirations for renovation, integration, and sustainable development.
The display features Vietnam’s 4,000-year-old cultural tradition, the diversity of 54 ethnic groups, and regional specialties as well as digital transformation, green industry, and aerospace.

The Voice of Vietnam’s exhibition space themed “80 years of the Voice of Vietnam accompanying the nation,” recreates the broadcaster’s history with memorabilia arranged in sequence, offering a multi-dimensional perspective on VOV’s development.

Beside the display of the 500W loudspeaker, once used during the war at the Ben Hai river, VOV showcases numerous technical devices, microphones, and transmitters used throughout history, including the 300W transmitter that broadcast live the Declaration of Independence from Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945.

Pham Manh Hung, VOV’s Vice President, said: “At VOV’s exhibition space, we introduce the station’s 80-year history, from its founding on September 7, 1945, through two resistance wars, to the renewal and renewal period, and now the era of global outreach. Over 8 decades, VOV has accompanied the nation’s history. From being a radio broadcaster, VOV has become a national multimedia agency with all forms of journalism, strongly developing digital content to serve the public and meet the country’s development and integration in the new era.”
VOV’s exhibition space is divided into four interactive zones from the initial sole radio broadcasting to the multimedia and digital transformation era. The VR experience “Returning to the sacred moment” brings the public back to September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, to listen to President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence.
