EIAS CEO Axel Goethals and EIAS Senior Advisor Xavier Nuttin made the remarks during a meeting at the Vietnamese Embassy in Brussels on Thursday with Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations Ngo Le Van and Vietnamese Deputy Ambassador to Belgium Le Vinh Thang.

Experts from the EIAS praised Vietnam's stable political situation as well as its impressive economic development in recent years, especially since the COVID-19 epidemic was gotten under control. According to Goethals, Vietnam holds an important position in the Asia-Pacific region, and is trusted by many countries worldwide. This is a primary strength of Vietnam in establishing partnerships, especially with the EU, said Goethals, who added that he thinks the Vietnamese economy will continue to grow strongly and be an attractive destination for investors.
