EU urges relevant countries to peacefully resolve East Sea disputes

The statement was released after the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, Netherlands, ruled on the Philippines case against China, which rejected China’s claims of sovereignty in the East Sea.

(VOVworld) – The European Union has urged China and the Philippines to resolve East Sea disputes by peaceful means.
The statement was released after the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, Netherlands, ruled on the Philippines case against China, which rejected China’s claims of sovereignty in the East Sea.
High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said EU member states have been aware of PCA’s ruling and relevant countries should resolve disputes by peaceful means.
