(VOVworld) – The EU parliament is drafting a resolution to call on Ukraine’s future Parliament and government to respect the rights of ethnic groups including recognition of their languages.
The draft resolution urges political forces in Ukraine and those nations involved in resolving the crisis in this country to cooperate for Ukraine’s unification and territorial integrity. The EU congress will ask Ukraine to respect the rights of all ethnic groups, including the right to use Russian and other languages.
In another development, the Health Ministry of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine said on Thursday that 30 people were wounded and hospitalized during clashes between pro- and anti-government demonstrators.
